ABOUT ME

I’m an actor with a hybrid background of contemporary dance and musical theater, which I’ve expanded with fight training and basic stunts. During the pandemic, I began coding and I now live a double life as a software engineer and performer.

My journey to acting has been a winding path. I grew up studying traditional Chinese dance (for ten years) and found my way to contemporary modern dance where I fell in love with choreography, partnering, and acrobatic movement. I then studied musical theater at the Boston Conservatory at the Berklee School of Music.

As a performer, I love digging into the details of who characters are, what makes them tick, and how all of that informs the script. My interest in plays and on-camera work comes from my love of searching for clues in the script to help tell the story.

In musical theater, I spend my time on both sides of the table as a performer and a choreographer. For the production of Pacific Overtures that I worked on, both my choreography and performance received high praise from the press. Full reviews can be read here. As an emerging choreographer in contemporary modern dance, my work garnished a number of honors and I was curated into festivals across the country.

In addition to performing and creating, I’m a Frontend Engineer for Streamlabs, which is owned by Logitech. That is to say, I can fact-check my own hacker-girl roles, and look forward to the day that I do.
